I walked 11 km to the park and then climbed the "All Soul's Alpine

Route" to Opabin Plateau. It is worth since I were on the top of the

lakes. "It sets your hear a-pounding". This is my second time. My

wife and I went there first time in the summer of 2008.

Wanghan, For me it is almost unbelievable that this landscape exists as a reality. The colours are so different to the colours in my country. The blue of the sky and the water is striking. I think you had a very nice time there. Best regards, Marco

Good Morning Wanghan, This is an impressive, colorful composition. The reflection is beautiful. What a great place to shoot.

The colors, reflections, are beautiful.  The high mountains and clouds bring that cold crisp air to the viewer.   Places like this are among my favorites.

Gorgeous shot of the Lake O'hara environs Wanghan! You walked the 11 km into the lake, and then did the All Souls Alpine route? You're one tough cat Wanghan! Superb work!

All the best,
Neil

A beautiful image indeed. My eyes started at the reflection  (bottom right side of the image) and then I roamed around to enjoy the image.

Wanghan,  I ditto most of the others comments.  This is a wonderful, near perfect shot.  And, I admire your trek as well.  Too bad that the pine trees are dying.  You capture color, texture, and detail so well in this image and present it perfectly.  I wish I could see a larger view to really appreciate the details.  Larry

I can see immediately why the scene would set your heart pounding, it is incredibly beautiful!  The composition is well balanced and the detail of the rock strata is communicated really well.  I am concerned though that the blues look somewhat over - saturated.  But of course I have never visited this location so my perception is based on only what I have seen in photographs, and your rendition could be entirely accurate. A beautiful scene nonetheless, and well worth the trek!

Best Regards

Alf

Wanghan,

Your recent series of the American landscape are all wonderful and I couldn't help but appreciate them all. The vivid colours make them so attractive and your compositions are impeccable.

It is so breathtaking to see images such as yours.

Regards!  -  Lester
