A pet hate of mine is selective coloured objects in an otherwise b/w image. it just doesn't work for me. But your clever photograph changes my view of mixing colour/bw and I can see other possibilities with this boundary approach. Perhaps I can apply this in my work, I'll try to keep it in mind.
