Great capture but I can't  but think 'What a shame!'. I imagine this was quite a beautiful home at one time. It is unfortuante 'for what ever reason', that the owners were not able to keep the 'estate' in good repair. The image reminds me of 'a sign of the times', for homes, relationships and the earth in general. Neglect, lack of taking the time to 'maintain' what is important, lack of necessary tools (funds) to do the same. A once beautiful exterior that has been left for 'whomever' to 'abuse' and leave their 'mark'. Quite a STATEMENT what many may think to just be an image of a home that has not been taken care of. Well done!

Ilkka, I like deserted houses because of the special atmosphere. Also this house creates a feeling of melancholy. And very often these houses are used  by graffiti sprayers. Interesting light and shadow. Best regards, Marcoi
