charity1 0 Posted October 2, 2012 Taken on Courtois Creek in Missouri, I paddled upstream by kayak for 15 minutes to get to this spot. This is one of the few spots where the creek runs east-west and we see the sun rise facing upstream. However, this awesome light lasted only a few minutes, the sun then went behind a cloud and everything went grey, but it was worth it all. Link to comment
hopsage 0 Posted October 3, 2012 Perfect lighting, Robert. Too, I really like the way the blurred water combines with the light mist to give an overall pastel feel to the image without softening it. The little detail of that barely-lit water plant in the foreground serves the traditional anchor role with real subtlety. I had to think about it before I noticed its effect. Added to the favorites. stp 6 Posted October 4, 2012 Great composition and light, and I agree with John about the foreground. Also, described like a true landscape photographer. Link to comment
