You are supposed to photograph in the magic hours of the morning and afternoon to get the best shots.  I would have had to pass this up and I know there is no drama except the bountiful colors - nature's marvel.

Beautiful!  I have enjoyed everyone of your Mount Tremblant images, my absolute favourite photographic site.

Patsy - thanks - Glad you liked it.

Jim: Thanks for introducing me to this park even though it much closer to me than you. I will drop you a note later on. Since I had not visited this place before, my Friday jaunt was really a scouting trip but prepared to take images in case I ran into something interesting.

I was in a new environment and once the magic morning light was gone it was hard to resist taking a shot like this. It's no competition winner but it will be a good souvenir for me.

With its six great rivers and 400 lakes and streams, Parc national du Mont-Tremblant is a canoer's paradise.

It's a rich amalgam of Québec's natural and historic heritages, being the largest and oldest park in the network. This wilderness is so vast that it is home to 40 mammal species, including the wolf.

There is also the "Via ferrata du Diable", an intermediate activity between hiking and climbing that will let you discover the park's mountains in a way you could otherwise only dream about.

Parc national du Mont-Tremblant is open year-round and has something for everyone.

Wonderful fall color, Tony.  Our fall - that came early - is quite bland this year.  I also think this works if you crop out the green trees and foreground left.  You'd have a more vertical image.  It's always fun and meaningful looking at your images.  Larry

Thanks for taking the time to show me the square crop - I quite like it. I have to admit that the square format does not come to me easily since my photographic baby milk was 35mm format and I have not been fully weaned.   Looking at mine, I get a better sense of a perceptual depth. In any event, food for thought and I checked the critique box because I thought your comment was helpful.

Wonderful colors of fall! Good composition, by the rules, only the central point is missing!

Best regards Tony!

The colours are lovely Tony!!! Beautiful image. I  have heard of this park, it looks lovely there. Our colours are peaking now, but not sure if I will have time to get any captures. Calling for rain.

Warm regards, Gail
