Great. I like the symmetry of this photo.

It's a great scene and well captured, but the laws of physics dictate that water is always darker in a scene like this, quite a bit darker, so this treatment naturally seems off kilter to the mind. The halos are pretty strong too.

Thanks for all your comments.  Drew - Garnet Lake is in the Eastern Sierra Mountains of California in the high country of the Ansel Adams Wilderness.  It's about an 8 mile hike in from Red's Meadow.

Hey, I went there once! The scene looks pretty believable to me, Don, in terms of the reflection and I'm also not seeing any egregious haloing (which is a pet peeve of mine) that the other commenter mentioned. Very well composed and executed.
