Today was a lovely September day. Mostly sunny. I can smell Fall

creeping in, slowly stealing what memories of summer I am holding

onto. I wasn't long doing gardening chores before I was sitting on an

old crate, eager to capture some images of the bees that had just

pestered me earlier. While the sun warmed my face, I recalled just

how cold it had felt this morning. Yes, it is Fall, cool mornings, with

warm afternoons that never last long enough. The sun, eager to

make a quick escape, reminds me that I should count each beautiful

day as one more 'blessing' in my 'bountiful basket'. (many thanks for

any visits and comments shared, I always look forward to them, kind

regards, Gail)

What a beautiful image Gail!! The bee, because of its color, really is highlighted. Matching color in the middle of the flower. Delightful, impressionistic scene. Color palate is radiant. Love the oof background with the "rays" from the upper right (small typo in title). Best regards

Hi Gail, Gorgeous color in this latest offering. A busy bee at work, the clarity and detail allow you to almost feel his fuzziness. The light coming in from the right corner is what seems to be lighting up his back, or is there another source of light? I like the PP work. All things considered a great backyard shot. Take care Gail.

Warm Regards,

Holger

Another nice insect image, not as fanciful and the fly and airplane, but that's fine. This is good, strong. A touch of life on a smaller scale than we live as humans. Good colors and comp too.

Really nice Gail. Both the subject and the background works well for me. I get a sense that the  flower below at the bottom left is a little jealous and is trying to reach up and says "hey big bee - I've got a little sweetness to give away too".

All the very best, and keep up the fine work.
