Nikon macro lens used on Canon body with an adapter. NOTE: this is a transitional plumage male - hatched 14 months ago (approx) - not quite in full adult male plumage yet (in another year, the eye will be almost black in color) - some feather moult (primaries and secondaries) also needs to be completed as well.
