No, it is a bit contrived. Your guide or another person with you scoops up several handfuls of sand from the floor and throws it into the pockets above the falls. Then they step away and the photographer begins shooting. It lasts for 20 seconds or so.

Complex forms and structures painted with beautiful light. I think that I like this one the most from this series.
