Great contrasts between the dark, jagged forms of the rocks and the smooth (long exposure) flow of the very light water.  Your composition has two main elements, IMO: the water flowing through the gap in the foreground, and the water washing over the rock in the background.  Some folks want to have a particular point of focus within the frame, some singular obvious reason why the photo was taken.  I've always responded that sometimes (especially with landscapes) that the entire frame is the point of focus; it's the scene itself that's the reason for the photo to have been taken.  I think that's the case here as well, despite the fact that, to my eye, you have two primary points of interest.  This is still a photo of a rocky shoreline with dynamic water, and it captures the nature of that shoreline very well because of your choice of composition and shutter speed.

Thanks for your always insightful comments Steve. I really have not taken the time to learn photographic rules....intentionally. I mean I took a couple of photography classes in college and my training as a military photographer was all on the job, but I really don't know the "rules". If I like an image I'm good to go. In looking at this again this morning I think the thin darkness in the water in the upper right could be a little darker to give the image a little more balance for my eye. Thanks again for taking the time to comment.
