I love Aspens green but have never seen them golden (in person)... Wish I was there!  A very well composed shot that urges me to round the curve.  A nice touch to include the figure, it adds scale and additional interest...  Mike

Our friend, Erika, had heard me commenting on photos in a local gallery that seemed to have "no subject" in them and offered to take a place in this image.

 

The main problem in this shot was the very bright sky which would have been badly over exposed if the shot was set up for the foliage and foreground.  Yeah, I could have bracketed the shot etc. but I just shot for the sky and the brought up the yellows etc. in PS to the correct levels.  The light and colors were almost surreal.

Now don't laugh at me......

I was scrolling through your Monument Valley pictures the OTHER direction and landed on this image!  Again.....stunning!  I can imagine these colors and lighting conditions were only present for a short time, but you've really captured them in all their glory.  Now I'm afraid I've run out of time, but I'll try to remember to get back to comment on your M. V. images.
