During my travel in Sicily I found this flight of steps in Caltaginone.

But this one is only a part of it (all...140 staps!). In the next image we

can see the complete, hard,..."climb": believe me, it's really hard,

specially, three-four times in a day: I had my B&B there, just near to

this...gentleman! But this little town is really wonderful!...Ciaomau!

Maurizio,

This is an image with a story, here you can do a real cardiac training every day. I can imagine the man on the stairs holding there to read a newspaper or what ever, to get some rest. It is logical that you have built the image around this man.  It is well composed. Just one of your great images.
Thank you for sharing. Kind regards,

Herman

Mau, what a perfect photo, the contrast, the clarity of all and we even get a story with it. Nice BW nice PP, perfect composition and a lot of healthy climbing :).

What an amazing set of steps Mau! They are so wide, like a street! I think your shot really shows them well, how steep they are, how grand they are. And you did a great job keeping the building lines vertical. I like the man on the left. He adds a perspective and a point of interest. His chair and the urn add interest as well.

I seen another small sitter behind him... it probably some sort of resting area... Any way interesting place and thank you for sharing it with us.

Good capture of this man in "his steps".By his relaxed posture,he is at home and this is the time of day he sits on his favorite stool with his reading material.Your shot creates the nice environment, gives a good measure of this impressive set of stairs and makes some of us(me) envious of this man's choice stand.Bravo for an excellent image.

Salutations-Laurent

Complimenti mio caro amico!

Ciaomau
