hstelljes 41 Posted September 5, 2012 Hello Radu, They are both beautiful. The sky is outstanding in both images but I lean towards the color version, a little. The light on the trees in the FG is also very eye-catching. Very nice capture Radu. Take care.BR,Holger Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted September 6, 2012 I am a fan of color and clouded skies. Here,I think the color version further enhances the vastness of this impressive landscape.Proper title as this feather really stands out in the clouded cover.Excellent image!Meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment
krpradu 125 Posted September 6, 2012 Thank you Holger and Laurent, yes color version is with more visual impact I think, especially that day moment with this light and sky, this green was exactly so incredible vivid even if 25km out from mountain area all is dry from a very hot and no rain summer.Usually with September the sky color is changing and became a nice clear blue and this types of clouds comes too,in summer time there are no such a phenomenons. jmarcraveau 0 Posted September 6, 2012 I really like the B&W version. You have managed to keep a wide range of tones. A very attractive image. Regards, Jean-Marc Link to comment

Jack McRitchie 150 Posted September 7, 2012 The problem is posed by that unusual "angel's feather" cloud; it adds a mysterious element to the picture and really engages the viewer's attention. It seems much more central in the b&w version so if your intention is to focus our perception on the odd presence of the cloud then that's the better choice. The scenic effect is somewhat diminished, though as the background mountains tend to blend into the foreground forest. The color version is preferable if you are after a true landscape shot. The "feather" doesn't have quite the impact there but still can't help but snag our attention.. Link to comment
morophaenixmau 22 Posted September 8, 2012 Nice the colored version but the B/W is really wonderful! Link to comment
andrzejp 7 Posted September 9, 2012 Beautiful both color and B&w versions. B&W version is more mysterious to me. Link to comment
cosminalba 0 Posted September 10, 2012 Great landscape with such nice details. The b/w variant is more intriguing indeed. The faling feather fits well into the composition. All my best to you. Cosmin Link to comment
Eystein 1 Posted September 10, 2012 I definately choose the colored version. It is a beautiful landscape, and I feel sucked into it when I see the clear and crisp colors. I don't get the same feeling in B/W- version.Best regardsEystein Link to comment
gsaphoto 2 Posted September 11, 2012 Both presented work is interesting... Personally prefer it in colors... Link to comment
Christal1664882414 0 Posted September 13, 2012 You know you have a good image when you can go either B&W or color successfully. Though I usually prefer color, I like the B&W version because it makes the cloud more pronounced, and it's so unusual that I think it deserves to be the center of attention. Link to comment
sherrybell 0 Posted September 13, 2012 Radu, What a beautiful name for this shot. The color one is my favorite. Beautiful scene and amazing sky. The B&W does bring out the Angel feather much better and shows it delicate beauty. Best Regards, Sherry Link to comment
