Wow ... !! Wonderful shot of a wonderful place !! I´m sure your Antartica´s serie will be wonderful ... 

It kind of brings a lump to ones throat just viewing the image, and that in itself I think is a good indicator of how well the mood and atmosphere of a scene can be conveyed.  The dynamics of the faint clouds are a bonus.

Three weeks ago I was sailing and we almost past Sandy Hook, New Jersey when I saw humpback and I took the picture, but unfortunately I was almost mile from this big animal. My 300 mm zoom it wasn't enough for this distance. I'm happy, you took great shot. May I ask you how far from you was this whale? Warm regards, Tina
