richard_john_edwards 0 Posted September 2, 2012 This is also excellent. Even though most of teh image is taken up and framed by the horse, its what is going on above the horse that is great. The number adds interest and gives great contrast. Really good work Gunnar. Link to comment
donna pallotta 107 Posted September 4, 2012 a very interesting and provocative perspective, Gunnar... dramatic! ;-} dp Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted September 10, 2012 This is a great shot. The other one of the same horse is also excellent and gives more of the personality of the animal but that one lacks the sense of surrealism where the real world is both affirmed and reconfigured to form a kind of abstract whole. It takes a man who has supreme confidence in his compositional skills to share such a provocative and masterful photo with us. Link to comment
3m 0 Posted September 15, 2012 Great shot indeed, and wonderfully composed, Gunnar. I like the different inter-relating shapes & curves. Love the tonality as well. (wonder though how this one looks on print... as the skin tone of the jockey seems so very close to that of the horse -- on my screen...? not a nit, just an observation :-) No matter what, a great eye & photo for sure!
