I strongly condemn the approach... for the sake of your photography, one insect dies... let them be in their habitats, instead of your studio. This is not acceptable at all...

Nice series, when I seen the thumbnail I figured the cicada was done for. That's one big mantis! Cicadas are pretty big insects and the mantis dwarfs it. Where do you get all these exotic mantids? Do you breed them?
