kslonaker 0 Posted July 26, 2003 This is the same squirrel as in the other posting, but a lot closer shot of him. Link to comment
relaymod 3 Posted July 27, 2003 cropped like so, this has a completely different feel than the other photo. here, it looks like you were carefully posing him or something! the detail here is great and it is a wonderful photo, but I still like the other one better for its spontaneity. mark_baran 0 Posted July 27, 2003 Great portrait of a squirrel. The bokeh is very pleasing, although it would have been very ice if the back half of the squirrel was also in focus. The face is full of inquisitive expression. Great shot!! Link to comment
WJT 619 Posted July 28, 2003 I hate squirrels: they destroy my gardens and empty my bird feeders. In this photograph I think you have captured the consummate menace and terror of the species. The insaitable hunger in those coal-black orbs of horror is all too apparent. One can only tremble at the thought of its unseen fangs-of-death in that never empty maw. I would like to say that a wider DOF would be nice but my nerves couldn't take the strain. Good job! Regards. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted July 29, 2003 Walter - your commentary was TOO funny! I agree with it completely. Squirrels are cute, but they are a nuisance. This little guy was trying to out-stare me so he could get the birdseed! Link to comment
raymond of rish 0 Posted August 19, 2003 By far your best wildlife shot. DOF is right-on. Link to comment
tc_reed 0 Posted August 24, 2003 Forgive the language, but I felt it was appropriate in reflecting exactly what I felt when I saw this little fellow. I love it! Link to comment
syl_f._greg 0 Posted October 19, 2003 I'm not particularly fascinated by squirrels pictures (!) but this image is really great. (And sharp, sharp, sharp) ! Link to comment
