dabar 0 Posted July 26, 2003 Here is a shot where I was able to preserve the detail in the forground. Let me know what you think... Link to comment
will_verwey 0 Posted July 26, 2003 Man, this shot could have been fantastic - the combination of the lightning strikes with the lovely sunset colours. Unfortunately, IMHO, the foreground is boring and detracts from the picture. Link to comment
ken_windsor1 0 Posted July 26, 2003 Why do I like this - well many storm photos make me feel uneasy as the storm becomes threatening to the viewer. Here the excellent use of foreground detail gives us enough depth to feel "safe" Link to comment
carol_watson 0 Posted July 27, 2003 Great capature! The colors in the sky are great! You may want to consider using the burn tool in the foreground to darken it a bit and add a little more interest/silouette to it. Link to comment
photomd 0 Posted July 27, 2003 Much better. The sky color is interesting (sort of unnatural but doesn't mean bad) Very nice photo Link to comment
bjn 0 Posted July 29, 2003 A near miss, but a good near miss. Aside from the lack of control of the foreground, I see the horizon as tilting down on the left. The tilt can be fixed but I don't see a crop helping a much with the foreground. Link to comment
simon_meehan 0 Posted August 1, 2003 I don`t know why,but I think you guys are being a little bit hard on this one.I like this shot foreground and all!I`m not even going to pick out any problems with it.It`s a good idea with an interesting result,(And by the looks of the viewing numbers a lot of people would agree) MORE! dabar 0 Posted October 4, 2003 The camera was level, according to the level I used, but the terrain was not. I may be in the desert, but it's not all flat and level. The visual clue to level here is the saguaros which grow VERY close to verticle. Link to comment
