Beautiful shot, Mark!  The wall-to-wall green is a difficult shot - but the brown of the tree and the bridge work pretty well.  I think that I like the close-up version more.  Thanks for sharing! -chris

Japanese gardens are rather beautiful in their orderliness but this in itself can be the most difficult aspect of photographing them. I like your composition and the rolling hills. I have tweaked the greens and yellows a little in my homage to your wonderful original. Best wishes
