barrymac 0 Posted August 31, 2012 Awe inspiring. I love astrophotography. You have set the image up nicely, the foreground has a lava lamp feel t it. May I ask about your technique and equipment? I have read in places that photographers have special lenses for capturing the colors of the milky way? Can you shed light on this for me. Or do I just need to get somewhere where the milky way is so pronounced... Link to comment
philrichardson 6 Posted September 2, 2012 Beautiful capture of this magnificent astronomical feature! The number of stars you have recorded is truly amazing. Excellent! Link to comment
pulok 1 Posted September 25, 2012 You have to go places where light pollution should be (almost) nil. There are plenty online tutorials to capture this type of shot, just google it. Any DSLR is good enough, wide lens is better. Honestly, I am also beginner of this type of photography. Thanks! Link to comment
