Dave: I've been admiring your images for a long time. I think you've progressed greatly in both concept and execution since I first started seeing them. To scan down through your portfolio is to see a growth that is at once heartening and entertaining. You are doing some very nice work and presenting it beautifully. Thanks for posting all the wonderful new images and don't stop progressing until you are at least the master I think you will be. Bravo!

This is an absolutely stunning photograph. After reading the first post, I looked thru your portfolio and I must agree that it is superb. Your landscapes truly live up to the original definition of the word "photography" -- "painting with light".

Is it a stiched panorama? I am starting to look into the technique [too early to post anything, though] and in my experiments I see the effect of horizon twisting that you have here.

 

Although this effect might be connected with the software one uses, I wonder whether one would not try and correct it: the shoot light is magnificent, but that curved sea makes it loose something...
