Southwest harbor

I think I can see where you're going with this one but I have to say I don't think it's worked. I feel the pier needs to be a much heavier part of the composition to point up the mistyness behind it. I would have the pier extending much further up towards the top of the picture if possible and also make it relatively wider by getting in closer.

It's as if the rest of the world is melting into the fog and the pier is on its way. I think it's very good.

well composed. Very emotive, one can feel the peacefull and the stillness of the place.

Nice contrast between the foreground detail and the gradual onset of the fog.
