Ready to pick!

I see that summer is really short in your area,unfortunately this summer was hot and very dry in my county and nature all around looks very,very dry and lot of trees are brown,usually this is so in October after a long autumn,weather is very strange in last few years,as always my best regards.

Here,the blueberry harvest is in its last days as the little fruit is fully ripe and any delay in picking exposes the crop to the assault of the birds,especially the gulls in this coastal area.And yes,this is sort of a signal that summer is over,but consolation....the colors of Autumn will soon be here for our cameras.

You are right.Summer here is very short and this year it was good with enough rain to keep the vegetation green.Autumn is at the door and here,we wish that the coastal winds will not be too persistant in order to keep our foliage colors which are starting to set in.
