Very nice layering affect. the gradation in tones is well done and is the strength in this image.

I always find these landscapes with moutains in the background, each layer with varying opacities, truly fascinating and so beautiful. Lovely processing Wolfgang. I have seen and driven through the Alps many years ago. I was young and had never seen mountains before. My first glimpse took my breath away!

Striking and lovely, particularly with that first left to right downward angle of the first slope in the foreground.  Sets everything up.  I once read that there is a German word specifically for the view of mountain ranges of varying clarity and opacity receding into the distance, but I cannot recall it.
