I'm not a pro but for me it really captures an aspect of childhood. You might try adding a little color to the halo that is around her hair, just to boost the angel effect.

I thought it was pretty good also. Abby loved it, I guess that's what counts. t The halo above her hair was a hat. I removed it and fluffed her hair. I guess I could lighten it now that I see it here. Thanks again.

Not bad, but having the 'softness' only over her face makes one think that it was out of focus. You have only her neck and chest sharp which doesn't make much sense. The hairwork isn't bad, but I'd either leave the face untouched, or if that's not possible, blur the clotheing to match the rest of it. I'm also interested in what the original looked like, hat and all - even if it wasn't on right, it still might have 'worked' as a photo of a little girl playing dress-up!
