ronnie gaubert 0 Posted July 24, 2003 This image was shot about 20 minutes before sunrise. Taken at Lake Martin, Louisiana. This great light on lasted for about five minutes. Sometime you just have to be in the right place at the right time. Dragged myself out of bed at 3:00am to arrive here with the anticipation of having a beautiful sky. There were heavy rains in the area the previous day, so I figured there would be plenty of left over high clouds. Comments welcomed and appreciated. Link to comment
laheist 0 Posted July 24, 2003 You definately have a good knowledge of the conditions that make for a good sunrise, these clouds are great! You should try some different things to siluette! Link to comment
robert goldstein 0 Posted July 24, 2003 Most sunrise/sunset photos are little more than colorful cliches, but this one is definitely not. Its blast-furnace colors silhouetting a lovely tree are a real eye-opener. Link to comment
john_kroy 0 Posted July 29, 2003 Spot on. I bet this sunset was nice during all the stages. Brilliant composition, and nice and sharp. Link to comment
