Hi Eystein, the shot could be very nice, the subject, the DOF and the crop are really nice. What I find less pleasant is the strong magenta-blue color cast of the background. Is this wanted to give a surreal atmosphere or not?

Thank you for interesting comment. The sun is going down behind the mountain, and I don't feel that the light and color is very different from "real life". It was a special light that evening. I have darkened the background and put more light to the foreground and a little more saturation all over. Maybe a little too much?

Reproduce the real light of these moments is not easy, what the eyes see or what we remember to have seen is general different from what the camera reproduces due to the white balance setting. My question is: what was the white balance that you used?

It was set to auto.

You have a  good image here, no doubt. I agree with our fellow PN that there are a few elements here that do not completely match. Yes, as said previously by others, the mountain is too blue or cyan. The perspective is interesting but the foreground too dissociated from the background. What might be a great "mood" image is the mountain itself, isolated (cropped) against this cloudy and ominous sky. Try it, you may find something of your liking.
