Hey Gail!  I love the composition of hearts hanging from a faux laundry line, drying after ... being misused?... The leaves are such a nice backdrop

All over the world, at this very moment, there are 'Hearts On The

Line', so many, and for so many reasons. This Miracle of

Engineering that pumps life giving blood throughout our bodies has

many Emotional States and Physical Ones. Yet essentially we are

the same. Just think of all the Human Hearts all over the World that

are beating at this very moment. If that is not a Miracle, I do not know

what is. (I always look forward to visits and comments, truly

appreciated, Gail)

Hi Donna, I just addressed all those 'circumstances' while doing my little 'introduction' to this Composiiton, then I realized, no one is going to want to read all that! But There are countless reasons why 'HEARTS may be ON THE LINE' . Some too sad to think of, some within our own experiences, some too 'delicate' to talk about. Emotional States of the Heart. Then there are those Hearts that could be waiting for a Medical Miracle to restore Proper Functioning to their Heart. But it truly saddens me to think of those that are born into this World, and for whatever reason, make the choice to ABUSE their own Hearts. I don't mean Physically in the real sense, I mean Emotional Damage from LIFE CHOICES that were in their CONTROL. They have not been abused or misused, but have chosen to take the path, that leads to self destruction. Yet those are the ones we hear about, daily on the news, who commit 'unspeakable acts', and I have to wonder if they ever were 'sane'.  I am not talking about children born into this world that have chemical or hormonal imbalances that cause them not to be able to function in Society without doing damage to themselves or others, I am talking about ones born, who have seemed to be Mentally and Physically within what is known as 'normal' and not subjected to Emotional and Physical treatment that would cause them to become 'casualties' of human nature. I guess it is a conversation that would never really end. Thanks so much for your visit and comments, different day, same page :-) Gail

Funny thing is, I was playing around with some bleeding heart pictures yesterday that were taken years ago.  Your approach with the scratchy acid background works phenomenally well.

Hey Gail,

Way back when.... I knew that you had the spark after seeing your creative art and thought you also could blossom in the world of photography.  Was I off the mark!!! If I could have seen how good your current creative output would produce I would have pressed your fingers on the keyboard to get you launched on your successful photographic Photo Net experiences. Here is a case where the student has far surpassed the teacher. I am humbled by your creativity.

Lovely creative work Gail with great philosophical thoughts ! As a medical doctor I wish that each one of us had multiple hearts like this in our body, so that when one ails we could have switched on to the other ! ;)

My sincere regards

I did not realize you are a Doctor, Sagnik. Your Photography must be a lovely 'escape' from what would be a very busy work week. Your lovely comment means even more to me knowing you work in the Medical field. I have an old freind who has been a Doctor for over 30 years, and I've often wondered how he manages. My husband is a retired Police Officer and there were many days when he had to deal with very tragic events. I've never known how he managed when he was working on those days that were like that. To have to keep your composure and tell a family or one left behind that you could not help the one they are so concerned about, must be so difficult. And for you personally, even though at the end of the day, it remains that you cannot possibly 'save' everyone, it must be very frustrating, and there would be days when you would experience a 'heavy heart'. Thankyou Sagnik for sharing your thoughts with me 're' this image. I am very appreciating of your time. Most sincerely, Gail
