GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted August 20, 2012 Beautiful capture Radu! And the rose seems to be revelling with arms outstretched with thanks! Very lovely colour and detail! Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted August 20, 2012 Oh, yes, brilliant. I love the slanting rain and the effect when it hits the flower. We just had a monsoon-like downpour in Osaka the other day (very rare for this area) but I missed my chance. This is a very fine photograph. Link to comment

lonebearimages 0 Posted August 29, 2012 This is an incredibly artistic and creative image, and it has been perfectly exposed and processed. My only suggestion is whether you considered cropping the left side to almost the tip of the leaf on lower-left? This has the effect of creating a square image, and in my opinion makes the composition even stronger as it tends to balance the position of the rose bush and emphasize the diagonal slant of the falling rain. Regardless, this is superb piece of work. Cheers! Chris Link to comment
3m 0 Posted September 1, 2012 One of the few times that a flower photograph projects some kind of emotion to me.. Very nicely captured and with lovely deep colors, Radu...PS: I agree with suggested square crop above, as it may possibly further enhance the impact... Link to comment
t_s18 0 Posted November 13, 2012 Hi Radu, This is such a beautiful composition of delicate beauty weathering a violent storm, seemingly persevering by the very nature of its character, rather than through inherent physical strength or might. Very rarely is this priceless and often unknown quality of overcoming adversity through the very nature of one's character ever emphasized in such days where the sole messages seemingly being shouted are those of 'triumphing through one's strength' or 'force' or 'might'.This is a thing of beauty speaking volumes of something far deeper and far more beautiful than the rose itself -- something being spoken by the very heart of God, through one of His creations, to all He has created.
