Amazing detail Lester. I have decided it would be fascinating exploring your beaches. I can't even imagine how much 'sea life' must be in this 'one image'. Beautiful sky as well. I must send my Dad a link to your Portfolio. He is really enjoying his Nex 7, but does not have Vistas like this to Photograph. I know he would enjoy your work very much!

Looking at seaweeds gives a noticeable different color, some are brown while some are red although a few are also colored green. Scientists up to this day are still trying to sort them out. Fact is, most of them are algae composed of different species. These are better revealed during the low tide as seen here.

Gail, my recent beaches images have been satisfactory with the NEX7. I've been trying to maximize its potential and so far I am quite satisfied. Perhaps it has something to do with the lenses I adapt it with. Some independent lenses have severe color fringes but the Leica Rs are glorious. Would be honored if your Dad finds my photos to his liking.

Jack, thank you for dropping by. I appreciate your remarks.

Lester
