Hot and Humid, insects buzzed in the air, Cicada were loud and

clear, but decided not to visit. Out front in the Garden Containers

these 2 Grasshoppers found time to 'cuddle'. I could have turned the

Container in another direction to get out of the bright sun, plus assist

my 'capture', but I did not want to disturb them. So I balanced on the

brick of the Garden Edging. Handholding proved a challenge, I fell off

a few times (I swear my neighbors must think me 'daft' by now).

Afterwards the female quickly left, but the male stuck around, guess

he must have been all 'tuckered out'. (as always your visits and

comments are greatly appreciated, many thanks, Gail)

Hi, Gail! You are great with macro! I still cannot figure it out and I am not happy with the most of mine. This summer I didn't practice much - got carried away with landscape, street - it is all new for me and I feel that little puppet in myself - jumping around and licking all and everybody, just being happy! I like just the right amount of dof and sharpness. Just great picture! Best regards :) Tamara

"Cuddle" - h-mmm! Should they not be more 'aligned" for cuddling?  Exceptional clarity and colors.  Well done.

Well, perhaps Grasshoppers have a different idea of 'cuddling'. I imagine those wings do get in the way!!!  thanks Tony for your visit and support.

I heard the cicadas again today, but none showed up. I've only gotten one capture  this season and it was not a very good one. I've only seen about half a dozen grasshoppers this year so far.
