This is an image of Darwin (Australia) coastline which I manipulated

to create a more abstract mood through motion blur.

thanks for your thoughts

Your masterful skills are apparent so beautifully here Art. The title is most fitting. I could fix my gaze on this image for quite awhile, and just contemplate. This image will no doubt stir feelings in many. Such an amazing 'glow'. The original image must have been quite beautiful as well, to render this 'masterpiece'. My sincere regards, Gail

A masterful rendition of colour, the 50/50 split works very well to create the abstract and the motion blur was a great idea.

Compliments!

Thank you everyone. Admittedly, I struggle to "see' or rather find composition in this genre of photography for my own purposes but always admire it in others when they present the end result. Definitely a learning curve for me

I am new to this site as of today. I had been on the Photochallenge since 2008.

That site had great for me until recently. Made a lot of new friends worldwide and here in the states.

Just want to say this photo is amazing. keep up the good work.

One of the most compelling abstracts I've seen in a long time, maybe ever.  I'm still trying to absorb it all.  There are identifiably organic forms in this that we can all relate to but your processing has rendered them ethereal or maybe mystical, but definitely beautiful.  I love photography but rarely see things I truly want to hang on my wall.  I would make space for this.  I would move something of mine into the cellar to make room.

Thank you roger and Jeff. I appreciate the comments and take great encouragement from your words. Jeff your comment is possibly one of the finest I've received here in photo.net. its much appreciated. cheers mate. I've included a 'larger' version hopefully to showcase this image a little better

An extraordinarily compelling image that draws a viewer in with almost hypnotic power.  The colors are sumptuous, and the tonal contrasts are dramatic.

MY best,

michael
