A heavily manipulated image of wildflowers growing in the Santa Cruz Mountains of Northern California. The color of the flowers has been somewhat enriched and the background color has been changed to a kind of gray scale.

I believe I have oversharpened this image, but I am looking for ideas and thoughts on

the basic concept - stripping out the background and foreground color after

manipulating the main subject. I am revisiting this image after several weeks.

Sridhar, thanks for your comment! I am actually just exprimenting with PS as I have alwys been a strict "no manipulation" kind of photographer. But I thought I might try and breathe a little life into some old pictures.
