Guest Guest Posted July 21, 2003 the earthy colors add so much to this photo - would like to see better sharpness - may be a format limitation Link to comment
pargman 0 Posted July 21, 2003 Whoa! Very nice! I love the way the clouds and the sky dwarf the city. Nice composition and good timing for the light. Link to comment
rp3o 0 Posted July 21, 2003 This was taken on a tripod; the camera has a resolution of 5 megapixels...I think that the sharpness is, unfortunately, a format issue. When I see this photo at 50% or 100% zoom level in photoshop, the sharpness looks fine; at lower zoom levels, some of the details blur...I think the clouds look OK in this posted photo (on the website itself), but the buildings look like they could be sharper - I wonder if this is the case because the buildings are so (relatively) small - and thus, the sharpness can't be conveyed. I actually used the "sharpening" tool in photoshop on this photo, before posting it... Does anyone know how to get around this issue? Thanks for the comments... Link to comment
robert goldstein 0 Posted July 23, 2003 Wonderful idea placing the buildings at the very bottom and showing a huge expanse of sky with wonderful clouds. Perfect ligthing and exposure, as well. The panoramic aspect ratio also lends power. Link to comment
