A whole folder of cardinals! I like this the best, because his perch is in a field of green so you simplify the normal wandering branches out of the composition. The uniform green field gives nice colour contrast to the red, too.

Great Shot, I liked all your cardinal shots. Cardinals are territorial, are all these pictures of the same bird? is he a regular visitor at your feeder?

I love the way he surveys the world from the safety of the branches. The composition is simply wonderful!! Is this a crop or were you just that close?
