kslonaker 0 Posted August 1, 2003 Takes lots of patience to get decent bird shots. I like the background in this photo. Link to comment
smullis 0 Posted August 1, 2003 Great picture. I like the background as well. The red really stands out. You are right about the patience too. Link to comment
andrew_somerset1 0 Posted September 3, 2003 A whole folder of cardinals! I like this the best, because his perch is in a field of green so you simplify the normal wandering branches out of the composition. The uniform green field gives nice colour contrast to the red, too. Link to comment
leopoldo 0 Posted September 4, 2003 Great Shot, I liked all your cardinal shots. Cardinals are territorial, are all these pictures of the same bird? is he a regular visitor at your feeder? Leo / a venezuelan birder - nature photographer- www.hatogarza.com (where I work) Link to comment
wilsontsoi 0 Posted October 15, 2003 I also like the background of this image. You'll give Arthur Morris a run for his money! Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted December 28, 2003 Couldn't be better. Luv your work and thanks for the rating. Link to comment
timothy_peterson 0 Posted May 30, 2004 I love the way he surveys the world from the safety of the branches. The composition is simply wonderful!! Is this a crop or were you just that close? Link to comment
timothy_peterson 0 Posted May 30, 2004 Duh. Had I read your technical details first...:-) Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted May 30, 2004 Thanks, Timothy. This actually wasn't cropped that much. He was maybe 6' away from me and I had the 200 lens on the camera. Thanks for visiting! Link to comment
harlow_b._staley 0 Posted March 30, 2005 This is not your highest rated cardinal, but it is the one I like the best. They are all good. Link to comment
