Landrum Kelly 64 Posted August 12, 2012 This is my first shot posted with the camera on a tripod and converting Raw to TIFF to JPEG. Some shadow-highlight adjustment was used, along with modest unsharp mask. My guess is that the files are processed heavily enough in the camera, since it is a consumer grade camera. Comments welcome.--Lannie Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted August 12, 2012 This is a totally uninspiring 100 percent crop from the middle of the picture. I did better than this hand-held! (Check out the hand-held shots of a bird in this folder.) I am not sure if I used the timer on this first shot using a tripod. I shall have to try another file. This was also shot at 18mm on a cheap lens. f/81/320 secISO 100 Nothing radical there. . . . I should have gotten better results, based on the hand-held bird shots in this folder. User error? Probably. --Lannie Link to comment
