Have you ever scene a photo of a tree at Valley of Fire?

Light painting the finer details at Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada.  Color, light and depth was the goal is this intimate scene.  And what's the typical image created at night and how can something be done differently and somehow switching it up a bit from what you normally see from this park!  We'll be out there for our hall full (so far) December workshop shooting more then the just the regular stuff and having a great time!!

Nice work, Steve.  I'd really like to do it all over again this fall.  Or maybe something in California.  Nice purple lighting.  I can't tell the perspective though.  How big is the tree?

I like the soft lighting, and subtle colors of this night shot Steve. The diagonal lines running through the rock make an excellent backdrop for the tree with roots appearing as though they are almost extensions of the lines in the rock. Nicely done!

All the best,
Neil
