Tough to beat on a bright sunny day but interesting no matter the conditions.  Not a subject one can do justice on in a few hours or one day but satisfying results are almost guaranteed.  Let me know if you are going to be in the neighborhood.  I'd love the opportunity to act as tour guide.  Best, LM.

Life as I know it is unfair to a great ,great extent that even the wildest imaginative mind could not imagine,I do not know much about Meir ,but he seem to me that he was to surprised from some kind of life that is present around us near or far, well what is in the image but beauty ,calmness ,and peace ,those for me could be present not necessarily in this place ,they are present at a wide areas ,even in country burnt with war like mine you could find such place .

sorry Len ,I should speak about the image ,but the comment of Meir have touched me ,especially because I know he live in Palestine (he call it Israel),but I have to admit that reflects to me the hard life that he undergone ,I have lived a hard live myself ,but this doesn't prevent me from stealing fine moments ,and sometimes hours.

Glad that you have a peaceful life to shoot ,and I wish for you to spend a year(I hope I am not exaggerating) in this kind of heaven where the beauty of colors ,the green meadows ,and clear sky and water are all there in abundance.

My wildest dream that I afraid even to reveal is to live few days in country like Canada.

our mutual friend Museeb have visited it for a week.

A fine image as I described, clean and clear.

Life is indeed unfair and one has only to pay attention to the news to see the unfair hand dealt to many decent, innocent souls around the world.  I can't speak for Meir but I understood him to be saying that there are many (I count myself among them) who are truly blessed simply for where they happen to live.  In my case it's a beautiful, stable, peaceful country with an abundance of natural beauty.  I feel lucky to live here.  Even the poorest, most wretched of countries have much natural beauty but when one struggles daily to provide the basic necessities of life for one's family I can imagine that it's hard to fully appreciate that beauty.  Thanks for the well wishes.  I echo them to you & yours.  I guess that by simply taking this photo I am both recognizing and appreciating my own good fortune and by posting it I am attempting to share my good fortune with the viewers on PN wherever they may live.  Best, LM.

Very soothing landscape shot. The flowers in the foreground grab our attention & draws our eyes slowly into the depth of the image. The perfectly placed sailboat also adds great balance to the picture.

Good of you to weigh in on this one.  The scene appealed to me right away.  The oncoming sailboat was the icing on the cake.  Only had to wait a very few moments for it to get into position.  Luck is good!  Best, LM.

I guess this image does depict an idyllic kind of existance, the flowers, the yacht and the fluffy white clouds reflect balmy summer carefree days and feeling of peace and tranquility. In this case the image has served to invite comment from people like Meir & Saad who are less fortunate than ourseleves and consequently gives me also a great reminder of how very fortunate I am.  PN certainly does alllow a view of the "Bigger Picture" in more ways than one.

Best Regards

This was a spur of the moment composition I saw developing with the sailboat coming into the frame.  Any technical shortcomings are trumped by the attributes you've described.  We all take too much for granted and the natural beauty around us is one element.  Since our postings have a global audience what might get a 3 rating in one place would get a 7 rating in another. (not that I'm into ratings - just saying)  Thanks for echoing the sense of contentment I felt when taking this one.  Best, LM.
