there is light behind the hair in her neck but thr rest of the background is black. I would like to ad some more fill light in the eye and make the whole background black. I like the composition and the high contrast.

The image is a fine one ,well composed with good colors and light,but I think that the exaggerated sharpness of her hair acts as a distraction from viewing her face (just my own personal opinion).
