Of course, it would be good to have less tight cropping, if you can add more space along the border, you'd better do that. However it's a candid as I understand, it isn't a model and you can't ask her to pose. Very good shot, nice reflection, and definitely highly original. Congrats, well done.

Yes I have thought about it, but it would be

cheating wouldnt it?

 

I love the palette of silvers and grays, accented by the orange feet and beak. I love the graceful arc of the wings, echoed by the arc of the fish and even multiplied in reflection. Finally, I think the tight square crop is balanced and works very nicely. A superb image.
