thadley 15 Posted August 2, 2012 Fabulous work. I would have loved to have been there and I would have come away with at least ten shots. Here is another possibility : Link to comment
alauriston 1 Posted August 2, 2012 Beautiful image with nice, warm light. I like the effect produced by what seems to be a wide-angle lens. Truly amazing.Regards,Audrey Link to comment
w-j-li 0 Posted August 2, 2012 Tony,Thanks a lot. My wife and I really appreciate your help which enlarges our eyes: oh, we could do it in this way. Thanks for your teaching us. Best Regards, Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted August 2, 2012 My way is not necessarily the best - I just show other possibilities which any other photographer at PN can do. Your original is very good and has a bit more drama than mine. All the very best, Link to comment
alfbailey 2 Posted August 3, 2012 This is for me the best of the three. It has all the qualities of the previous image, but with the added big plus of the warm light on the the foreground rocks. I like Tonys second version in terms of exposure and light, however I think the original wide angled composition is more pleasing.Compliments! Alf Link to comment
dom1 1 Posted August 4, 2012 Well seen. I like the warm earth tones and cool blues. I also like Tony's version with only the shadows lightened a little. Link to comment

Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted October 10, 2012 Wanghan, These Escalante images are terrific. Southern Utah has landscapes that are other worldly. I agree with Alf's comments about this image. Jack Dykinga, a most effective southwestern photographer, teaches the concept of filling the frame in photography. You have done an excellent job here. You may want to check out Dykinga's work online, since you have taken so many images in the southwest. Link to comment
