B&W works very well.  It seems to emphasize the rolling expanse of hills, perhaps because the viewer's eye is not so strongly pulled to the bright yellow of the sun.  I like it!

Leo,  Great capture; the sun radiating down drowns the image and creates wonderful mood. The softness in the background dunes contrast well with the foreground.  You had a sharp eye here and captured your vision well.  Best to you.  Larry
