wogears 186 Posted July 31, 2012 Very good straightforward portrait with nice use of props (hat). Broad lighting works well. Link to comment
JohnWebster 3 Posted July 31, 2012 Very good portrait. Appropriate lighting of the background in that the lightest part of the background sets off the darkest part of his face. The lightest part of his face is set off by the darkest part of the background. It looks like the backgound light spilled just a bit onto his right collar creating a nice lead-in line to his face. The softer light on his left shoulder accomplished the same thing. Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted August 1, 2012 Very good portrait of this handsome gentleman Bill. He takes a good image. He had such a gentle look about him. I imagine he is a good friend of yours, just something in his eyes Bill. Link to comment
hayward 0 Posted August 2, 2012 First thing I thought was: "Man, I need to learn how to do studio lighting." Terrific portrait. The eyes look a little too soft, like the point of focus was maybe the nose, but it helps with their expressiveness, I think. Link to comment
jorge_fernandez3 1 Posted August 6, 2012 The light on the bg is great and his tonalities are perfect for him, that way you are able to bring his beauty out! Ha! You are the best my friend. Warm regards. Link to comment

olafdevries 0 Posted March 13, 2014 Bill, I have to do more pleasant homework, haha you simply are forcing me, let alone John's eyes. :) I don't promise a date or a week anymore..! Still three on my list, shame. That's because of really taking a pleasant time for that, not just quicly choosing a few shots.Yes, untill then and for ever: just keep commenting, it's of great value. In fact I just explained that under the small girl 'Lost in Queensday.' Braveheart, see you. Olaf. Link to comment
