richard thompson www.fotoz 0 Posted July 16, 2003 I like it - good contrasty image. To improve, perhaps rotate clockwise 1 degree or so, to make the horizon level, and then re-crop. Link to comment
vlad po... 1 Posted July 17, 2003 Agree with Richard, just rotate it clockwise unless this tilt was intentional. Really amazing seascape. Not sure, maybe I prefer a tad more soft shadows. Nevertheless, I like it as it is. Link to comment
richard blount 0 Posted July 17, 2003 I have to agree about the horizon Robert, when I first looked at this I thought it was a moonlight scene, maybe try another version with a blue tone, I think it would be good, or am I getting the McNitt blue bug :-) Link to comment
livvie 0 Posted July 17, 2003 great atmospheric shot - the evening lighting glistening on the sea is captivating - wouldnt touch a thing - love your range and willingness to experiment - like to keep an eye on your works as lets me see what the dimage is capable of in right hands! ... ohh just looked -see your using the canon this time instead. sigfridlopez 0 Posted July 21, 2003 Moody, well contrasted, sharpened and framed. Maybe the horizon could be less tilted -just an opinion-. Beautiful Link to comment
stefan1 0 Posted July 24, 2003 If anything, it looks like the water is flowing the other way! I like the mutet colors you have achieved here. Link to comment
bianka_zalman 0 Posted July 26, 2003 breathtaking atmosphere......only the slopping horizontal line disturbs me....but nevertheless an excellent image! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 27, 2003 I'll echo the view on the rotation but I do like the image a lot. The light dancing on the water is very appealling and the muted colors are very nice. I think the decision to silhouette the rocks was a good one. Nice work. Link to comment
