All the photos attached were photographed in the general rehearsal.

Belongs to the series of Human Nitrate.

Beautifully spotlit in all its abstract oddness.  I like how the diagonal of light and shadow keeps up the energy.

Wild it is , but  in the whole dance "The sky are the limits";-))and that is  what  I like.....

Pnina, I like that I'm not sure what's going on, where the figure stops and the clothing takes over or vice versa. I am certainly intrigued by the details around the figure—the two or three faces/masks, the stuffed animal at the waist, and the various parts that are dragging the ground. I particularly like the way the two white masks/faces are thrust into the darkness at the upper right, and the curve of the blue cloth against the light at the lower left.

Thanks for writing your impressions. As I have explained in previous photos of this creation ,the  dance has a message about what we human being are doing to planet earth. There is a general structure to the dance, but a lot of moments of improvisation are   occuring/creating by the dancers. There can be many  viewers interpretations, that are good as mine...

The bear is tossed between the cloths and symbolises what we are causing the animals by eliminating more and more of  their  living habitat. The face of the dancer is not really  clearly seen as the anonymity of the earth" terrorists" are known only in part , many ! and not a single one. The blue, and  the dancer cluttered  cloths is a recurring theme at  the dance and  for me it is the sky descended to  earth  as a warning  of  a  future chaos !  if not..... My interpretation of course is  as one that saw the dance more than once...and was witness to its development.

Marvelous! Absolutely marvelous!!

And after viewing this one photo, I of course had to your others. And then visit the various websites that talk about the performance. And even watch a short video. I'm sure it's 100 times more stunning live and it already looks fantastic on my computer screen.

And to be part of the magic. Ah, the life . . .

Cheers ~

Bob, for stopping by and commenting.

Alberta, thanks for doing the whole way....;-)) I think that we have a lot in common, regarding the art/stage  life! I'm  going back to my   2003-2004 photographs...stay tuned...and thanks again.

forgive me a purely technical remark: noise in the shadows would be worth trying to reduce a bit.

Still, it's an amazing photo - my impressions are in line with Tony's comment.
