joaodebarros 1 Posted July 27, 2012 Hi Pnina! The scenario it's strange for me but I like the game between light and shadows. Technically well done, nice to see new photos from you! Regards. Link to comment
wogears 186 Posted July 27, 2012 Very good use of the stage lighting. Mysterious background adds to the effect. Link to comment

jeffl7 0 Posted July 28, 2012 Fantastic light! I love how the scenery floats overhead like a dream of sorts. Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted July 30, 2012 You have such a diversified Portfolio Pina, and your theatrical images are stunning. This is one that truly is exceptional. The 'play with light and shadow' really makes it and I think causes the viewer to 'pause' and really try to discover what is 'going on' in this moment. A fine composition! Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted July 30, 2012 Joao, it is a very wild dance and that is what really fascinating abou it Les,Anabela and Jeff thanks all of you for refering to the light which is the play here especially. It is not easy to explain the content/context ,Gail, but in general it has a message: and it is what human being are causing to our planet earth !I think that if the message is coming through ( wild, crazy accessories, questions ,etc.)the cause of the dance is achieved! michaellinder 16,613 Posted August 2, 2012 This is a powerful image, quite befitting its title. The most dramatic touch, in my opinion, is the line of shadow traversing the subject's cheeks. My best,Michael Link to comment
Donna Stavis 0 Posted August 3, 2012 Hi Pnina, I've come to admire this a lot! Yes, the lighting is really nice. Yes, she looks a bit crazy. I find myself looking at the various things she is wearing that look from a salon. The relation between her and the backdrop is interesting. Link to comment
Art X Photography 1 Posted August 5, 2012 your work is unique in its capture of the world around you. Raw humanism (as I like to put it).I like the play of light and shadow which adds another dimension to the composition. compliments Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted August 6, 2012 Nice & sharp with good detail. Not sure of the significance of the electrical cord around your subject's neck but it probably fits with your explanation of man's effect on the planet. It would probably be best if the viewer had actually seen the performance in person. Reminds me of the lighting used by Karsh in his portrait of Peter Lorre. Very dramatic! (and a bit spooky). Best, LM. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted August 7, 2012 Meir thanks. Michael thank for your nice impressions. Donna, I called this dance as a joke " alte zachen".....;-)) Art, thanks for your really nice words, which I thought about them ,and you were so right ,as I love the human race. I see it as part of nature's creation with the animals and natural landscapes I know the drawbacks but always look for the advantages! Len, thanks for your impressions, I think that if we would have been created with wings... we could fly from country to country to see it in real time... then PN would not be in need...;-)) For the joke I will show you what was the electric cord used for...;-)) Link to comment
