Pierre, I like this one more. The sky cleaned up. I feel some optimism and a promise for a better life. Best regards

Excellent Sunflower capture Pierre! Fantastic clarity on the Sunflower and really like way you have kept the sky in the background but it isn't too bright. Great work. Hope to see it in the Flowers section! Best wishes. Sarah.

I do believe if you stare at this image long enough, the sunflower could give you nightmares. I wonder if there is a phobia for fear of sunflowers? (I guess anthrophobia is the closest.)

A fine shot.

Same sunflower is excellent -- crisp, sharp and in focus where it should be. Well seen on after the storm sky!

Dopo tanto tempo sono tornato, ho fatto un lungo viaggio in Sicila, terra stupenda ma "dura" da affrontare! Ma eccomi di nuovo subito dal mio caro amico Pierre per godere dei suoi splendidi lavori! Ciao, Mau.

Lots of details on my new addiction, Sun butter made with the Sun flower seeds. often found in the health food stores. Here I requested the Managers at Publix our local super market, to order them. It is like Peanut butter, but it is not a Peanut product it is a Sun flower Seed Butter! When you thought you have eat everything here it is a new product made with the seeds from your flower here. Warm regards.

I always liked this sunflower Pierre. It adds a bit of sunshine to any image it is used in. I should be smarter and 'harvest' some of my better flower images for my layers. This is an excellent example of the 'diversity' of your 'creative process' and just how wonderfully it 'works for you'. Excellent image. I think it can say very much about how we 'interpret' life. We could choose to concentrate on the 'dark clouds', or choose the 'beauty of the sunflower'. In so many circumstances of life, there is always a 'ray of sunshine' we just often fail to 'recognise' it. Well done Pierre!

I like this one, the contrast of colours and of the bright flower and the dark sky. Very good.

I agree with colleagues that this version is more effective.  The brighter sky as background really shows off the detail of the flower.

Bravo!!

I like this one too, I like how the post process on the sky adds contrast and drag the eye to the flower.

Great work.

Best regards Tore

This is an excellent Sunflower capture. I cannot add much more without repeating what Gail, Sarah (to name a few) have already said.  This is a question and not a suggestion: would you consider lightening the yellow petals at the upper right side?

'As is",  this is a beautiful image. best regards,
