This is a very tiny flower that I captured after a very rainy day in

June. It was one of my Grandaughter's birthdays, and fortunately for

us, as we drove in the driveway of the Farmhouse, the sky cleared

and the rain had pretty well finished for the day. I love taking images

after the rain. Early in June, I could still smell 'Spring' in the air. The

forcasted thunderstorms were over, and the remainder of the day

looked so much brighter. (your visits and comments are most

appreciated, Gail)

Good Morning Gail. Very nice, love the color and the bokeh is dreamy. I see you left space below the flower, normally I would say a slight crop would be in order, but looking at the overall image the space seems to work just fine. I really like the blur. Take care.

Best Always,

Holger

I am glad you liked how I finally left it. I had started a layer of 'raindrops' for where the 'tears' would fall beneath, but it looked like 'too much'. My sincere thanks for your visit.

Paul - so good to hear from you. I imagine you have been trekking all over the place to find those lovely images you post. Things are pretty good on this end, and already, although HOT I can't imagine that summer will soon be half over!!!

Exceptionally beautiful shot! I personally love flowers, and children! Two of the most lovely creatures of the god. This capture do demonstrate in the best way , the beauty of these creatures. Sharpness, detail, light, composition and depth are all masterful . Bravo.

My best regards,

Hamid.
