Hot and Cold!

I posted the original of this photo some time ago. Someone commented

that it would look better if one of the chillies was green. Not

wanting to disappoint, I made one of the chillies green. What do you

think?

Well, you know I love it.

The problem(*my* problem) with this version is, that the green chili is actually glass-like. A bit like transparent. Should look better if darker. The shadow on the bottom is also weird a bit. Otherwise, nice idea.

To me, the green looks artificial. I would also prefer to see a darker green. It would be more authentic. Otherwise, I love the idea!

Hey David it's Jeffrey. Sorry I haven't rated any of you're photos lately, but I just looked at this one. I like the idea and I only see a few things that I don't like. The green chili is way too bright and I think that it's a bit bright in the upper right corner. Even with that though, nice shot.

I don't think I "feel" the cold in this one. The interesting color green is a bit distracting for me. I think I liked the original. The two red chili peppers remind me of lips and with the apparent frost I can almost feel the hot and cold. This one doesn't speak to me like the original.

I would like to see the green a different shade but the idea really works.

I like the green version better, but would prefer a little darker green. Great shot, tho' :).

Again, clean and simple, and well thought out! I agree that you should make the green a tad darker, but I like it! very creative!

looks a little over exposed to me

the green looks better than the red, but i would really LOVE it, if you just simply retook the photo, Because it does, as others have said, look artificial.

 

other than that, i really do think its a fantastic photo, they almost look as if they're cuddling each other! very graphic. love it.

You have a great set of original photos including this one. I liked how you mixed the two colors and the shapes match also, plus all of the good things that everyone said. I also want to say thanks for your comments on two hobbies, I want to buy a slide scanner so I could get all my slides up here. All of the shots in my folder are all old print film.

Thanks Ronaldo. I am glad you liked this. Up until my latest series on nudes, this was the pic with most ratings. Photographically speaking, I prefer this to my nudes. However, I guess healthy naked bodies are generally more appealing.
