I have doubts as to whether or not this bike is interesting enough to make it the subject of a photo. Maybe there was a shot near the peeling brick work or the bars on the windows.

I can understand why you selected this bike. I also live in a land of bicycles and they show up in my pictures all the time. There's a very nice contrast between the shiny rad paint job and the crumbling brick wall. On that compositional level this picture is very pleasing.
